Reefer incident workflow

How a reefer incident is handled

  1. 01Receive container no., location, set-point, current temperature, alarm code and power status.
  2. 02Confirm the initial information and set the urgency level — without unconfirmed technical promises.
  3. 03Notify the principal and the designated operational parties per the escalation matrix.
  4. 04Coordinate terminal, depot, technician or surveyor and log the time of each action.
  5. 05Obtain test results, temperature, alarm data and photos; send a status update.
  6. 06Principal confirms the next step in sensitive cases such as transloading or container change.
  7. 07File the close-out report and archive the incident documentation.
